The Weisman is open to visitors, but several galleries are temporarily closed for maintenance.
The Weisman's windows are being replaced this summer! The museum's featured exhibition gallery, Riverview Gallery, Woodhouse Family Gallery, and the featured exhibition gallery are all temporarily closed for maintenance. While the building is getting much needed TLC, the exhibitions these galleries contain (More Various, More Beautiful, and More Terrible) will also be inaccessible to visitors.
In the meantime, we invite you to explore selections from the collection, including Korean furniture, This is So Contemporary (Davis Gallery), Ebb/Flow (Hodroff Gallery) and Portfolio's Purpose (Carlson Gallery); and take advantage of the comfortable seating in Target Gallery's Open Studio, if you're looking for a place to relax or settle in for some art-making.
Don't forget to pop by the WAM Shop and browse an array of bright and beautiful gifts, accessibly priced, including jewelry, locally-made cards, fun books, and cheeky Weisman merch. Or, head outside and take advantage of the warm weather by exploring the Weisman's public art on campus. More galleries will reopen to visitors in late July, as maintenance projects in the building are completed.
