Additional Details

It’s Stress Awareness Month at the Weisman!

Managing stress is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle, and as students, we experience a lot of it! Join the WAM Collective for an intentional study night to explore stress management techniques, grab a Misfit Coffee, and peruse the galleries between study breaks.

At this month's Study Night, the WAM Collective will host sound healer and artist Tamiko to facilitate a meditative sound bath experience. This unique sound bath invites you to step into a soothing, peaceful space designed to offer deep relaxation and comfort. Through layers of lush textures, harmonic overtones, and calming frequencies, Tamiko creates an atmosphere where you can let go of the demands of the outside world.

Let the waves of sound envelop you, gently guiding you into a state of presence and ease. There's no pressure to do, achieve, or fix—only an open invitation to rest, recharge, and simply be.

Come as you are, and leave feeling refreshed, centered, and grounded.

First 100 people get a free Misfit Coffee!

WAM Collective Officers are the student leadership team of the Weisman Art Museum. Officers learn about contemporary museum practice, plan programs and events, create digital content campaigns, research and write about objects in the museum’s collection, collaborate with other student groups and departments on campus, and make connections between their studies and the museum’s resources. Officers work with professional museum staff, artists, advocates, and community members on projects that reflect the concerns, interests, and passions of the student perspective.
