As part of the Target Studio Collaboration Culmination and Performance, join us for a Conversation on Performance and Public Art, presented with Forecast Public Art.

In contemporary art, “performance” stands for an extremely broad range of creative practices that use live action as the basis of work. Meet artists Nooshin Hakim, Pedram Baldari, Monica Sheets, Pramila Vasudevan, and Peng Wu for a conversation about ways in which their diverse performance-based work activates public spaces, and the challenges and opportunities the public sphere imposes on ephemeral art practices.

The conversation is moderated by Jen Krava, the Director of Programming and New Initiatives of Forecast Public Art, and Boris Oicherman, the Curator for Creative Collaboration in the Target Studio.
