Leon Wang will lead a workshop on amplifying one's voice through tactical poster art. Based on a rigorous, hands-on process of purposeful creativity, the session will model the steps for shaping a clear and impactful narrative. Each participant will produce a working draft for an 11x17 format poster. No prior art/design experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Leon Wang is an activist/artist based in St. Paul. He aims to use art and design to support the frontline actions for social and economic justice. He has collaborated with movements and organizations such as Black Lives Matter, Standing Rock, March for Our Lives, and Poor People's Campaign on messaging and visual systems. His multidisciplinary expertise includes architecture, toy design, and design education.
