The MINNESOTA SCHOLASTIC ART AWARDS program (MSAA) is a statewide regional affiliation of the national Scholastic Art Awards program. MSAA offers early recognition of creative teenagers and scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors. The program is organized and administered by the ART EDUCATORS OF MINNESOTA.

The presentation of the 2022 MSAA exhibition and awards ceremony demonstrates the high level of achievement by art students in Minnesota, and the exceptional academic resources at the University of Minnesota for the study, practice, presentation, and interpretation of the visual arts. This is the sixth consecutive year the University of Minnesota has hosted the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards and it’s collaboration with the Art Educators of Minnesota is emblematic of the University’s commitment to furthering the educational and artistic opportunities for young people in Minnesota. To learn more about the awards and sponsors visit the exhibition website.

We invite all students, their families, and educators of award winners to join us in celebrating the exciting and promising work of Minnesota’s young artists. Tune in to learn about the history of the MSAA awards and our regional scholarships. We will hear from Keynote Speakers and the Regional Scholarship Award Winners will be announced.
