Join us for a glass blowing demo at Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts by their board member and University of Wisconsin River Falls glass professor Eoin Braedon. Braedon has worked and trained in glass studios in Ireland, Australia, and the United States. He works in the tradition of the seanchai, a traditional Irish storyteller.
Breadon received his MFA in glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2004 and is internationally shown and collected by galleries and museums. From 2004-2009 he served as a member of the sculpture and glass faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Art and now works as an Assistant Professor of Art, Head of Glass/Sculpture at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts is a non-profit public access glass studio that is dedicated to engaging the Minnesota community in the study and appreciation of glass arts while expanding the potential of the medium.
