Green Line Quintet

About the Artist

The Green Line Quintet, named after the Green Line Lightrail that runs through the University of Minnesota’s campus, is a group of friends and musicians dedicated to creating and performing music together. After a successful year of playing together in the university’s jazz program, the members decided to continue playing outside of school, hence The Green Line Quintet was born. They are constantly seeking to explore and incorporate other genres into their repertoire, providing fresh takes on old tunes, and bringing modern songs into the jazz wheelhouse. The Green Line Quintet has been playing together for just over 2 years, and they don’t plan to stop any time soon.
