About the bands

Four musicians, three holding guitars, sit on a couch in a green room. Having debuted in Minneapolis in the midst of COVID, Creeping Charlie have been building up their take off from the release of their first full length album How To Kill Creeping Charlie last year, playing with and opening for star local bands to residencies at Amsterdam Bar & Hall. Making music for “cool older sisters” from soft ballads to punk rock, be ready to cry and get pulled into raging mosh pits at their shows.

A woman with white-blond short curly hair and medium tan skin looks, unsmiling, at the cameraMayyadda is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Minneapolis who aspires to use her music to make people slow down, find themselves in another perspective, and feel their way towards individual and collective healing. With an eclectic mix of neo-soul vocals, folksy guitar, pop-style piano with trap beats sprinkled in for flavor, she likes to refer to her genre as, “BlackGirlMagic.” She has been active as a recording artist since 2015, releasing four projects since then: most recently, TRY&REMEMBER, a sonic journey thru the risks one takes on their way to healing, which she released in October 2021.
