Weisman Art Museum

Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend-long event that allows the public free, behind-the-scenes access to buildings in the City of Minneapolis that are architecturally, culturally, or socially significant.

Join us for a tour at 1 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday to have an in-depth look at the architecture of the museum. Don’t miss the 2nd floor terrace that has the best view of the Minneapolis skyline. Grab an architecture guide for a self-guided tour of little know facts about the construction of the building. More interested in artwork? Pick up a Perceive card from the front desk to practice slow looking in the galleries.
