Most of us communicate our views and ideas to the world through language. For some of us—like cellist Rebecca Merblum of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra—this language is sound. Between April 7 and 12, Rebecca invites you to have a 30-minute conversation with her and her cello via Zoom - we can connect through art, even when we need to remain physically distant.

What would our conversations be like were we to have them on a musicians’ terms? Can one find meaningful personal connection with music as a part of the conversation? Will the cello guide the exchange? Will sound invite new ideas? Will it grow to a collaboration? It’s completely up to the three of you.
