Sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students are invited to explore contemporary Native arts, create their own artwork, develop storytelling skills, and perform for their friends and family in this hands-on workshop. Graduate students in the Arts in Education master’s program from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction have developed this workshop to help students experience the vibrancy of Native art in Minnesota, and connect their own lives to the creative process. The session takes place from 1 – 5 p.m.
