Weekends with the Weisguides
Join WAM’s volunteer tour guides, the Weisguides, for interactive tours and art-making activities. During each program, a new thematic connection will be made to an exhibition or the building architecture. Visitors can tour the museum, interact with guides and other patrons, and participate in an art-making activity. Check our events calendar for upcoming dates.
Free guided public tours are offered each Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. Tours are thematic and have a topic that relates to current exhibitions. Tours focus in-depth on a current exhibition or artwork/artist.
Become a Tour Guide
Volunteers can learn about visual art and play a special teaching role at the Weisman by becoming a tour guide. Weisman tour guides offer interactive, informative, and fun tours for K-12 school groups, University classes, and other adults.
A new guide class will start in the fall of 2017.
Applications are now open for the fall 2017 class. If interested, please fill out the application here.
