IMPRINTS update: February

Last week we had the chance to see the students’ garments for the design showcase. To sum up the class visit in one experience: wow! It is always incredible to see the designs students come up with every year. Taking inspiration from The Talking Cure exhibit as well as following the prompt of how students portray and consume identities, it was a powerful experience hearing the stories behind their pieces.

Everything from childhood memories to discussions of what it means to be a woman in Trump’s America was represented through the designs made from non traditional materials. To see the designs up close and hear more about the designers’ artistic process, get your tickets today to IMPRINTS Design Showcase!
